Met Lahar, Rani and Jocelyn out for Ethiopian food and yummy honey wine. we had been planning to go to Queen of Sheba on 10th and 46th but ended up at Meskerem on 47th betweem 9th and 10th. The later has a bad reputation for slow service, but we told the waitstaff we were heading to a show afterwards and we received our food and drinks as well as the check quickly. I'm a fan of Ethiopian food and while the meal was satisfactory, am looking forward to trying Queen of Sheba.
Caught the Tony award winning play, God of Carnage, after dinner. The play is written by a Frenchwoman and originally set in France, rewritten to take place in Brooklyn.
The actors were compelling, human and the show was a laugh a minute.
The next morning, Delica, Jocelyn and Daisey met up at Cobble Hill Park, the scene of the melee between the God of Carnage kids, funny and coincidental.
